Candidate enjoyed forum

Al Csapo of Bordentown City, Candidate for City Commission
To the editor:
On Tuesday, April 7, I had the best experience I ever had running for city commissioner. The other seven candidates and I participated in the first of three forums scheduled for this election.
I appreciate the Mount Zion AME Church congregation’s thoughtfulness in providing a nice atmosphere to talk about the issues and their efforts to make sure they are properly informed. A nice size group of folks attended and offered a varied menu of good questions for the candidates to ingest.
It was a good opportunity for all the candidates to get to know each other. After all, we all have something in common — a basic desire to be involved in the purest form of government (non-partisan election).
I, Al Csapo, feel confident in my ability to be able to work with any of the two candidates who become elected officials along with me. We will improve the residents’ life quality in many ways. That is my desire and promise to do so.
