Congratulations to Billy Wojciechowski for earning a Division 1 Scholarship for Men’s Lacrosse at the University of Delaware. Billy is a Mansfield Township resident and a senior at Northern Burlington Regional High School.

The next Mansfield Township Board of Education meeting will be held on Monday, April 20. The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Mansfield Township Elementary School on Mansfield Road East. The meeting will take place in the Media Center.
The Burlington County Chapter of Hadassah is sponsoring card party-luncheons on three consecutive days — April 20, 21 and 22. On each day participants will arrive at Dolphin Diner, 4250 Route 130 North, Burlington, at 10:30 a.m., enjoy coffee, tea and danish, play Mah Jong or card games, and break for a full lunch at 12:30. Play will continue until 4 p.m., with hot and cold beverages served. Tickets at $18 each are available from Shirley Bush at 609 291-1191. Proceeds will support Hadassah’s Extraordinary Humanitarian Efforts, including the Hadassah Medical Organization.
The Mansfield Township Recreation Committee will hold a meeting on Tuesday, April 21, at 8 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Mansfield Township Municipal Building on Main Street in Columbus. All interested residents are invited to attend.

Burlington County Chapter of Hadassah will meet at 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 28, at Temple Har Zion, High and Ridgway streets, Mount Holly. Following a brief business meeting, Geri Shatz, a local representative of the Jewish National Fund, will address members and guests on the importance of the JNF and its many projects. Mark your calendar! The Columbus Central Veterinary Hospital will hold the third annual “Paws For a Cause” event on Sunday, May 3, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. A human blood drive will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. This pet fair will be fun for the whole family. You are invited to bring your leashed animals too. The fair will provide information on keeping your pets safe and healthy, offer pet products from vendors, pet portraits, and more. The event will take place at the Columbus Veterinary Hospital located at 3075 Route 206 South in Columbus. Proceeds benefit Save US Pets and the NJSPCA.
Get ready for Field Day on June 13. Residents and friends are invited and encouraged to enter in our 1 p.m. parade, you can march in the parade, ride on wagon floats, pick-up floats, cars, bicycles, just enter to participate. ”Our Talented Town” is the theme and all talents are welcomed in the parade, as well as the Municipal Park immediately following the parade, share your cooking, sewing, skateboarding, singing, dancing, playing instruments, or any other talent. A talent show will be held in the park for everyone’s enjoyment. There will be a variety of games, dunk tank, big slide, balloon bounce, face painting and more. A $5 wristband entitles you to all activities. The Special Events Committee will provide a variety of food items. The Little Miss Columbus will be honored in the parade. Voting will be taken places in various businesses in the community.
Table space will be available for the events held after the parade. Organizations, businesses, and talent displays are encouraged. Table reservations will be taken beginning in May. Any questions at all, please contact Barbara at 298-0542, Extension 19.
Once again, the Ashwood Family will sponsor an Alex’s Lemonade Stand on Field Day, Saturday, June 13. Please look for the lemonade stand when you visit the park festivities following the Field Day Parade.
