Incredible things

There are many incredible things happening at Lambertville Public School. For too long, LPS students weren’t learning in technology-based classrooms. Thanks to the leadership of the Board of Education and Superintendent Todd Fay, that all is changing.
The Board of Education at Lambertville Public School has been proactive in investing in new technology for our classrooms. Every child at LPS has access to a computer, and online learning tools are helping to make homework not only fun, but more meaningful. In addition, with a grant from the Lambertville Area Education Foundation, the board initiated a new school Web site – at no cost to taxpayers – that gives parents and the community the ability to see first-hand what’s happening inside the classrooms at LPS.
Superintendent Fay also has been finding alternative funding sources for our children. He worked with a leading technology manufacturer, the PTA and the LAEF to secure grants and funds that paid for two new, interactive computer-based SmartBoards for LPS. With these new tools, teachers can bring the blackboard alive.
In addition to its ongoing technology initiatives, LPS has implemented a top notch curriculum which has been a solid base for the development of other programs that will further prepare our students for the future. School leaders are also looking into green initiatives that will make the school a local leader and the students more aware of their impact on the environment.
Lambertville Public School is lucky to have school leaders who are looking for new ways to deliver the quality education our children deserve in a way that wisely invests our tax dollars. Our school deserves our support. On April 21, be sure to vote yes and support the budget to ensure LPS continues to move in the right direction.
