Faith Silvestrov, Robbinsville Township Board of Education
I am a member of the Robbinsville Township Board of Education and would like to thank the community for its support throughout the 18 years of my tenure. I am seeking re-election on April 21, and I am asking the community of Robbinsville for its continued support.
It is a privilege for me to be on the Board of Education and to serve our growing community. Throughout my term I served on the following committees: education, policy, technology, personnel, finance, facilities and transportation. I also served in the capacity of New Jersey School Boards Association representative. Currently I serve on the education, policy committee; chair the personnel committee; and I am a delegate to the Mercer County School Boards Association.
I have seen the district grow from a small two-elementary school town through the construction of Pond Road Middle School and Robbinsville High School, expansion of Sharon School and Middle States accreditation. I strongly believe that Robbinsville needs to provide high quality education to our students while being fiscally responsible to our taxpayers. We have many challenges facing our district and more work that needs to be done. We need to continue to be diligent in our efforts to adequately meet the needs of our growing student enrollment and to continue to look at additional resources to offset our financial expenditures.
Public service is important to me and I enjoy serving the community. Please consider giving me your continued support.
