Debbie Tams of Bordentown City
To the editor:
On March 21, a Saturday, my daughter’s basketball team enjoyed a season ending pizza party at the Carslake Community Center. John Wehrman was there to open and close Carslake, enabling the children to have a good time and celebrate their season.
Making Carslake accessible almost every day and night of the week and on the weekend for so many worthy community groups and organizations assures that this valuable community facility is always available to all.
By performing this service, John saves the citizens of Bordentown City more than $35,000 annually in employee salaries and benefits. The $140,000 in savings over the course of four years is a savings I, as a taxpayer, greatly appreciate.
That kind of caring community service and dedication only serves to make Bordentown better, and is why we should vote May 12 to reelect John Wehrman.
