Andres Miranda Dominguez, 26, of Deerfield Apartments, was charged Sunday with disorderly conduct and aggravated assault against police officers by throwing bodily fluids.
Police said officers responded to a call at 12:28 a.m. of a man breaking into an apartment in building 8 of the Westerlea Arms Apartments through a broken window. Police said Mr. Dominguez, in a highly intoxicated state, refused orders to exit the window, and the K9 unit was deployed, resulting in Mr. Dominguez being bitten two times.
Police said officers restrained the dog, and Mr. Dominguez struggled with officers after being removed from the window, and spat at the officers.
He was treated at a local hospital for injuries sustained from the dog bites as well as the broken window glass, and released. He also was charged with criminal mischief, resisting arrest and criminal trespassing.
Unknown subjects broke into a Meadow Drive residence after breaking out a basement window between 9 p.m. April 9 and 12:45 p.m. April 10.
No objects were stolen and the actors left through the front door. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Hightstown Police Department at 448-1234.
Antonio Williams, 41, of Tom’s River, was charged April 10 with contempt of court.
Mr. Williams was turned over to the Hightstown Police Department by the Lakewood Police Department at 2:54 a.m. April 10. He was wanted on a $1,000 warrant from Hightstown.
Mr. Williams was taken to the Mercer County Adult Correction Center in lieu of bail.
Angel Rivera, 33, of Hamilton, was charged April 10 with contempt of court and failure to inspect. Police said Mr. Rivera was pulled over at 6:51 p.m. on Main Street for having an expired inspection sticker when police discovered he had an outstanding $5,000 warrant. He was turned over to the Trenton Police Department in lieu of bail.
Justin Giaquinto, 37, of East Windsor, was charged Monday with contempt of court. Mr. Giaquinto was turned over to Hightstown police by East Windsor police at 10:42 p.m. on a $500 warrant from Hightstown.
