Joe and Valerie Malone of Bordentown City
To the editor:
Saturday night at Old City Hall was one of those magic moments. The nearly 100 residents in the audience were treated to the incredible talent of Sara Blann-Crafts and Robert Violette who were joined by accompanist Bobbie Boulware.
Bordentown has been blessed with many amazing things over the years. To have the privilege to be part of last Saturday evening will be a memory my wife and I will cherish forever.
The night was not just about music, it was about the mixture of sight, sound, feeling and people. The evening spoke very well about who we are as a community and truly how far we have come in painting a portrait of the talents and character of this town.
People had fun, laughed, talked, mingled and came away with one overall conclusion; we all had a good time. Special thanks need to go to Jack Sade, Carol Hill, and all of the committee members who made a significant step in bringing back what has become the iconic face of Bordentown (Old City Hall).
Thanks to all of you. Valerie and I are very proud to call Bordentown our home.
