Rudi Delma, 21, of Leigh Avenue, was arrested for having a $250 warrant out of Princeton Borough after a records search revealed the warrant during a pedestrian stop on Leigh Avenue at 12:40 p.m. April 17, according to police.
Bryce Moller, 30, of LaCosta, Calif., was charged with drunken driving following a traffic stop on Nassau Street at 2 a.m. April 18, police said.
Megan Telles, 21, of Alamo, Calif., was charged with providing alcohol to a minor following a pedestrian stop on Nassau Street at 6:50 p.m. April 18, according to police reports. Police said Ms. Telles provided alcohol to Amanda Hawila, 20, of Foulke Hall, on the Princeton University campus. Ms. Hawila was charged as a minor in possession of alcohol, police said.
Adam Fox, 22, of Allendale, was arrested after a records search revealed a $130 warrant out of Princeton Township during a traffic a stop on Nassau Street at 3 a.m. April 20, police said.
Kevin Salter, 18, of West Trenton, was arrested after a records search revealed a total of $1,058 in warrants out of Lawrence Township and Lakehurst during a pedestrian stop on Washington Road at 5:10 p.m. April 21, police said.
Olanrewaj Tomori, 35, of Franklin Park, was arrested after a records search revealed $900 warrant out of Denville Township during a traffic stop on Nassau Street at 9:40 p.m. April 21, police said.
Princeton Borough police have arrested a Nassau Street man in connection with one of three sex attacks that occurred on the Princeton University campus the weekend of April 18.
Jorge Humberto Solares Garcia, 28, of 205 Nassau St., was charged with criminal sexual contact and criminal restraint after investigators stopped him at 11:40 a.m. April 21 in the area of Vandeventer Avenue and Spring Street.
Police said Mr. Garcia fit the description given by an attack victim who said a Hispanic male in his 20s with light skin, close-cropped hair and a thin mustache grabbed her and fondled her after following her across campus at around 3:15 a.m. Sunday, April 19.
In the other two attacks, which occurred in the early morning hours Saturday, April 18, a suspect exposed himself to two female victims as they walked across campus.
Both April 18 incidents still are being investigated, police said.
West Windsor
Donald Bridges, 51, of Cranbury, was charged with drunken driving after a traffic stop early Sunday morning at Old Trenton Road and Emily Court. At about 3:40 a.m., Mr. Bridges was stopped for speeding and found to be intoxicated, police said. He was placed under arrest and processed at police headquarters where he was issued summons for reckless driving, speeding, maintenance of lamps and drunken driving.
Louis Harrigan, 26, of Levittown, Pa., was charged with drunken driving following a traffic stop Saturday evening on Meadow Road, at Princeton MarketFair. He was stopped for careless driving and found to be intoxicated, police said. He was placed under arrest and processed at police headquarters where he was issued summonses for careless driving, reckless driving and drunken driving.
David Stankovits, 37, of Milltown, faces drug charges after he was pulled over by an officer Saturday evening for a motor vehicle violation, police said. The officer also found his driver’s license to be suspended. A subsequent search of the vehicle led to the discovery of heroin, cocaine and drug paraphernalia, police said. He was arrested and charged with possession of heroin, cocaine and drug paraphernalia, police said.
Matthew Altaro, 29, of East Windsor, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop Sunday night on Canal Point Boulevard and Meadow Road, police said. Following an investigation, he was arrested and charged with the drug offenses and possession of a controlled and dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, police said.
Joseph Dipaolo, 20, of Hamilton, was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams following a traffic stop Sunday afternoon on Quakerbridge Road. After he was found to be in possession of marijuana, he was placed under arrest and processed at police headquarters, police said.
A theft was reported from On the Border restaurant, located along southbound Route 1, that occurred Wednesday between 4 and 9 p.m. Someone gained access to a caged-in rear storage area and stole nine empty beer kegs valued at $270, police said.
Willie Randall, 47, of Trenton, and John Tucker, 51, of Trenton, were charged with shoplifting Wednesday afternoon from Target, in Nassau Park. They were arrested for allegedly concealing $1,847 worth of razors and pharmaceutical products, exiting the store and placing them inside their vehicle in the parking lot, police said. They were both arrested and processed at police headquarters.
Denise Smith, 47, of Trenton, was charged with shoplifting Wednesday from Wal-Mart, in Nassau Park. Ms. Smith is accused of concealing $89.84 worth of Nintendo games and software by concealing the property and attempting to exit the store, police said. She was released from police headquarters after processing.
Nancy Nicolas, 25, of Trenton, was arrested for shoplifting $35.71 worth of women’s clothing from Wal-Mart, police said. She was released from police headquarters after processing.
Erica Frenkel, 19, of Montmouth Junction, was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams after a traffic stop Wednesday on northbound Route 1 at Alexander Road, police said.
Adrian McFarlane, 25, of Somerset, was arrested for possession of marijuana of under 50 grams and paraphernalia, a bong, after a traffic stop April 21 on northbound Route 1 at Harrison Street, police said.
Two people reported separate incidents of theft from vehicles that both occurred at about 7 p.m. April 20 at Target, in Nassau Park. In the first incident, someone smashed the driver’s side front window of a 2003 Nissan and stole a GPS unit and a radar detector, police said. In the second incident, someone smashed the driver’s side front window of a 2006 BMW and stole a GPS unit.
Montgomery
Yifong Pan, 17, of Belle Mead, received a summons for careless driving after a two-car crash Sunday afternoon on Route 206 near Bridgepoint North. A 2004 Hyundai driven by Deborah L. Cordonnier, 50, of Princeton, was traveling northbound on Route 206 and stopped in traffic when her vehicle was rear-ended by Ms. Pan, who was driving a 2000 Toyota, police said. Ms. Pan said she applied her brakes but did not stop in time, police said. No injuries were reported. Ms. Pan’s vehicle was towed from the scene.
A man is in critical condition following a motorcycle crash Sunday afternoon at the intersection of Route 518 and Spring Hill Road. Michael Arnold, 59, of Manalapan, was driving a 2006 Kawasaki motorcycle on eastbound Route 518 when he failed to stop for a stopped vehicle in front of him that was making a left onto Spring Hill Road, police said. Mr. Arnold lost control of the motorcycle and was thrown from it, striking his head on the pavement, police said. He was flown by state police helicopter to Capital Health System Helen Fuld Campus in Trenton. He suffered head injuries and is listed in critical condition, police said. Route 518 was closed down for about one hour as a result of the incident.
Leo Randall, 27, of Lawrenceville, was issued summonses for careless driving, uninsured motor vehicle, unregistered motor vehicle and unclear plates after a one-car motor vehicle crash April 20 on Route 601 at Reading Boulevard. Mr. Randall was driving his silver 2000 BMW southbound on Route 601 when he lost control of it on the wet roadway while negotiating a curve. The car slid off the southbound side of the road and hit a utility pole. An appearance in municipal court is pending.
Robert Los, 45, and Robert Hicks Jr., 19, both of Jackson, were issued municipal ordinance violations for soliciting without a permit following a Dutchtown Harlingen Road resident’s complaint last Tuesday. The resident reported two males had offered to pave her driveway and left a business card, police said. After researching the business on the Internet, the resident contacted police, fearing the men had tried to scam her. A responding officer located a vehicle occupied by two men matching the description provided on Buckingham Drive, police said. A motor vehicle stop was conducted, and the two men admitted to soliciting without a permit, police said. Mr. Hicks also was issued summonses for unclear plates and hazardous tires. Court appearances are pending for both men.
Neftali Cardona, 20, of Somerset, was issued a summons for failing to yield the right of way after a motor vehicle crash Tuesday. He was driving a 1996 Toyota on Millstone River Road and attempted to make a left turn onto Staats Farm Road, police said. As he made the turn, he failed to yield to the right of way of a 2005 Toyota driven by Genevieve Waseem, 30, of Belle Mead, who was travelling southbound, police said. This caused the crash, which forced the southbound Toyota off the road and up an embankment, nearly causing the car to overturn, police said. Ms. Waseem complained of neck and head pain and was transported to the hospital by Montgomery EMS, police said.. Mr. Cardona was issued a summons for failing to yield to the right of way and must appear in municipal court.
Plainsboro
Renee C. Larkin, 27, of Quail Ridge Drive, was charged with drunken driving following a police investigation early Sunday morning into a suspicious vehicle and person on Brentwood Lane. Ms. Larkin, the driver, was arrested after investigation revealed her to be intoxicated, police said. She was processed at police headquarters after she was issued motor vehicle summonses for drunken driving and reckless driving and a township nuisance ordinance violation for urinating in public.
Iroda Gazieva, 25, of North Brunswick, and Mikhail Kamyshev, 30, of Hampshire Drive, face charges following an altercation in the roadway of Pheasant Hollow Drive Friday night, police said. At around 11 p.m., an officer came across them while on routine patrol, police said. Investigation at the scene resulted in Ms. Gazieva being arrested for drunken driving and Mr. Kamyshev being arrested for harassment related to the altercation, police said. Both were transported to police headquarters for processing. Ms. Gazieva was charged with drunken driving, reckless driving and obstructing the flow of traffic and released without bail. Mr. Kamyshev was charged with harassment and released.
Two people were taken to the hospital, and northbound Route 1 was temporary closed after a five-car crash Friday evening near College Road East. At around 5:30 p.m., a gray Ford F-150 pickup truck, driven by John Szoke III, 39, of Aberdeen, struck the rear of a vehicle stopped in traffic, eyewitnesses told police. The impact caused a chain reaction of rear-end collisions, and five total vehicles were involved, police said. Four of the vehicles sustained heavy damage and were towed from the scene, police said. One driver involved was transported by a Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory EMS unit to the Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, in New Brunswick, for evaluation and treatment of back and leg pain. Another driver was transported by Plainsboro EMS to the University Medical Center at Princeton for evaluation and treatment of leg pain. Fire Station 49 was dispatched to assist with the cleanup of vehicle fluids on the roadway. Northbound Route 1 and the entrance ramp from Scudders Mill Road were closed temporarily for the investigation and to remove the disabled vehicles.
An employee of Windrows Assisted Care reported a theft that occurred between 9 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. Thursday. The victim reported to police someone removed a sealed envelope that contained $350 in cash from her purse, which was stored in an unlocked drawer of a desk in a common office shared by the entire staff. The case is under investigation.
A resident of Serina Drive reported a theft that occurred sometime between 8 a.m. April 18 and 10 a.m. April 19. Someone stole jewelry from the victim during a real estate open house, police said. The jewelry was valued at $300. There are no suspects at this time, and the case has been turned over to the detective bureau for further investigation, police said.
