Shelda Levine

Mrs. Levine, of Freehold Township, died April 5, 2009, at CentraState Medical Center in Freehold Township. Born in the Bronx, N.Y., she lived in Marlboro before moving to Freehold Township 15 years ago. Mrs. Levine, a graduate of Queens College and a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society, worked for the Monmouth County Library System as a graphic artist for more than 25 years before retiring. She was a founding member of the Marlboro Community Players, served as president and acted in many productions. Mrs. Levine was predeceased by her husband, Joseph, in 1989. She is survived by two sons, Alan of Washington, D.C., and Howard of Hightstown. A funeral service was held at the Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold, followed by interment at Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge.
