Gellman Images, Howell, was selected as the official image-maker for the 2009 New Jersey Hall of Fame induction ceremony that took place May 3 at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, Newark. Gellman Images was responsible for all still images and behind-the-scenes video for the event, as well as the imaging content for the satellite museums, such as the IZOD Center, Meadowlands; NJPAC; and a mobile unit that will travel statewide.

The Jersey Shore Association for Human Resources (JSAHR), a Superior Merit Award Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management, will meet from 8-10 a.m. May 14 at the Jumping Brook Country Club, Neptune. The Goddard School, 50 Route 520, Marlboro, recently earned the Circle of Excellence President’s Club Award. The Circle of Excellence President’s Club Award is given to the top four Goddard Schools in the nation for achieving the highest standards in the areas of health and safety, curriculum, overall quality, occupancy, degreed teachers, appearance, customer satisfaction and business operations, as well as for demonstrating the highest level of customer care. The Provident Bank recently collected more than $10,000 in donations for the Community FoodBank of New Jersey through its efforts with Deposit $1 of Hope, a fundraising drive in Provident’s 82 branches throughout the state. The $10,000 raised through the Deposit of Hope drive resulted in approximately $100,000 worth of food and groceries for local food pantries, soup kitchens, senior centers, daycare centers, homeless shelters and residential programs in New Jersey.

Mary Urbano of Marlboro, an exclusive agent with Allstate New Jersey Insurance Company, has won a professional national award from the company. Officials with Allstate New Jersey of Bridgewater, a subsidiary of Allstate Insurance, announced that Urbano is among the local Allstate insurance agents who are recipients of Allstate’s “Best in Company” award. The award recognizes the agent’s high standards in customer satisfaction, customer retention and other measures of professional excellence.
