Mr. Graff, 82, of Jackson and formerly of Woodbridge, died April 15, 2009, at Bartley Health Care in Jackson. He worked in the maintenance and purchasing departments for Merck Inc., Rahway, for 25 years, retiring in 1988. Mr. Graff was a U.S. Navy veteran who served during World War II. He was a former member of the American Legion, Colonia, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Avenel. Mr. Graff was predeceased by his wife, Marion, in 1952; two brothers, Bernard and Otto; and three sisters, Elaine, Betty, and Anna. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Eugene Grodzki of Freehold; a sister, Margaret Diblasi of Jersey City; a grandson; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township. Inurnment was private in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arnytown.
