Herman Lipshutz

Mr. Lipshutz, 90, a resident of Manalapan for 35 years, died May 10, 2009, in Plantation, Fla. A World War II veteran, he was a salesman in men’s clothing and synagogue interiors, retiring 20 years ago. Surviving are his wife, Helen (Hyman); a son and daughter-in-law, Ira and Marilyn Lipshutz of Sharon, Mass.; two daughters and a son-in-law, Janice and Irwin Geiser of West Orange and Joyce Cieniewicz of Manalapan; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services were held at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge, under the direction of the Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Manalapan.
