Hashim Cooper, 32, of Florence, was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana (under 50 grams), possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled dangerous substance with the intent to distribute within 500 feet of a federal housing complex, possession of counterfeit money and possession of fireworks at 10:30 a.m. Friday after police searched a Foundry Street apartment.
The state police TEAMS Unit assisted with executing the search warrant, police said.
The warrant was obtained as part of an ongoing investigation, police said.
He was lodged in Burlington County Jail in lieu of $75,000 bail, no 10 percent.
During the investigation, Barbara Johnson, 25, of Florence, also was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and released pending a court date.
Connor Losco, 19, of Croydon, Pa., and Joseph Deery IV, 18, of Fairless Hills, Pa., were charged with possession of stolen property at 3:20 a.m. Sunday on Route 130 North near Cathy Lane.
Police said an officer saw Mr. Deery driving on Route 130 with a headlight out and stopped his car. Police said there were four advertisement signs from businesses in Burlington City and Edgewater Park in the car.
Police said an investigation revealed the two men had stolen the signs from the businesses just before they were pulled over. They were released on their own recognizance and turned over to Burlington City police for additional investigation.
Alicia R. Skorski, 24, of Philadelphia, was charged Friday with possession of crack cocaine, possession of a hypodermic needle and possession of a crack pipe.
Police said they stopped a vehicle in which she was a passenger at 12:32 a.m. for driving erratically on Route 130 and found a $550 Mansfield warrant for Ms. Skorski’s arrest.
Police said they searched the vehicle and found what they suspected to be crack cocaine as well as the needle and pipe on her seat. She was released on $1,080 bail pending a court appearance.
