Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJUH) will offer a baby-sitting basics course open to teens and preteens between the ages of 12-16 from noon to 3 p.m. on June 20. The class will be held in the hospital’s main auditorium.
Topics will include interviewing for a baby-sitting job, choosing safe and age-appropriate toys and games, diapering and feeding techniques, handling bedtime issues and tips for having a safe experience. Participants will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the course.
The fee is $35 per persona and parental permission is required. The registration deadline is June 14.
