The Spotswood Public Library, 548 Main Street, is sponsoring a summer reading club for children ages 3-13 who are Spotswood Library cardholders. A reading log must be kept for children to be eligible to win weekly prizes and awards at the end of the summer. Logging begins June 22 and ends Aug. 8.
June 23 at the library will feature two dramatic workshops presented by Youth Stages. From 11 a.m. to noon, 3-5-year-olds are invited to participate in “Sir Small and the Dragonfly,” and for 6-9-year-olds, “When the Lights Go Out in the Library” will be held from 12:15-1:15 p.m. Audience participation is encouraged.
A summer storytime will be offered at the library for children ages 3-8 from June 30 through Aug. 6. Dates and times will be available at registration. Register for one day each week per age group.
Registration for these programs must be done in person.
