Mr. Winter, 83, of Marlboro and Boynton, Beach, Fla., died June 1, 2009, at Delray Medical Center, Delray Beach, Fla. An army veteran of the Korean War, he worked for 32 years at Exxon Research Center in Linden as a chemist. In his retirement he enjoyed shuffleboard, winning six medals in the Senior Olympics. Surviving are his wife, Joan (nee Lesnik); a son, Mark Winter of Weston, Fla.; a daughter, Gail, and her husband, Jeffrey, of Wellington, Fla.; and five grandchildren. Services were held at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Manalapan.
