Princeton University has named Chris Bates as its new head men’s lacrosse coach. Bates takes over for Bill Tierney, who led the Tigers to six national championships before leaving earlier this month to take over as head coach at the University of Denver.
Bates, a 1990 Dartmouth graduate, has spent the last 10 seasons as the head coach at Drexel University.
