Charles “Chuck” J. Stiennen Sr.

Mr. Stiennen of Howell died June 23, 2009, at Care One at Wall. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving during the Korean War and World War II, and a truck driver for Nappi Trucking in Matawan for thirty years, retiring in 1993. Mr. Stiennen continued as a driver for Easter Seals in Neptune for five years. He was predeceased by a son, William Stiennen, in 1999. Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Frances M. Stiennen; a son, Charles Stiennen Jr. of Chandler, Ariz.; two daughters, Patricia Stallworth of Jackson and Catherine Skripak of Howell; A daughter-in-law, Susan Stiennen of Lawrence, Mass.; nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Joan Keitel of Iselin. A funeral service was held at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township. Interment was private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation, Church Street Station, P.O.
