The American Jewish experience lecture series presented by the Jewish Historical Society of Central Jersey will host a lecture “Operas with a Jewish Theme” 10 a.m. July 13 at Monroe Township Jewish Center, 11 Cornell Drive. Dawn and Paul Horowitz will discuss the libretto and play excerpts of the music from “Salome” by Richard Strauss.
The lecture will be repeated 10:30 a.m. July 15 at Anshe Emeth Memorial Temple, 222 Livingston Ave., New Brunswick.
