The 2009 Summer International Film Festival at the East Brunswick Public Library, Jean Walling Civic Center, will begin on July 7 with 1:30 and 7:30 p.m. screenings of the French comedy “Priceless.” The 2006 movie is rated PG-13.
The film, starring Audrey Tautou, tells the story of a girl named Irene who mistakes a handsome bartender for a wealthy guest at her hotel on the French Riviera.
The remaining schedule is as follows:
• July 14 — “Tuya’s Marriage,” 2006, Chinese, not rated, directed by Wang Quan’an;
• July 21 — “Under the Same Moon,” 2007, Mexican, rated PG-13, directed by Patricia Riggen;
• July 28 — “Tell No One,” 2006, French, not rated, directed by Guillaume Canet.
Admission to all films is free of charge. Reservations are not required. The series is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
