ROBBINSVILLE: Computer tech charged with invasion of privacy

ROBBINSVILLE — A Sharon Elementary School computer technician has been charged with invasion of privacy, a third-degree offense.
Carl Alb, 29, of Beech Street in Pennington, was arrested June 24 after school officials discovered two small wireless cameras that had been monitoring two female employees at their desks, township police said in a press release.
School officials contacted police, then found “inappropriate material” on Mr. Alb’s work computer, which was turned over to police, according to the release.
Police also found a third camera, but its location was not identified in the release.
Computer equipment also was seized from Mr. Alb’s home.
Neither township police nor school officials returned calls for further information.
Police did say in the release no children were in any harm or involved in the investigation.
Anyone with additional information is asked to contact Detective Brian Boccanfuso at 609-259-3900.
