Mellissia Zanjani Appointed Vice President For College Advancement at MCCC
WEST WINDSOR, N.J. — On July 6 Mellissia Zanjani joined Mercer County Community College’s administrative team as vice president for college advancement. In addition to serving as director of the college’s Foundation, she will be responsible for overseeing fundraising, philanthropy, grants, marketing, communications, and public relations.
Most recently Ms. Zanjani served as vice president of institutional advancement and foundation executive director at Tacoma Community College in Washington State. Originally from Baltimore, she has many years of experience, including director of development and alumni relations at Harford Community College and program director for the American Lung Association of New Jersey.
Ms. Zanjani is currently completing her Ph.D. at Oregon State University in Adult Higher Education with an emphasis on community college leadership. She earned her M.S. in Human Resource Development from Towson University and her B.A. in Political Psychology from Chatham University. She is a Certified Fundraising Executive through the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
She and her family have moved to Burlington Township, New Jersey.
