Pauline Pojawa

Ms. Pojawa, 68, of Englishtown, died after a battle with lung cancer. Born in Somersworth, N.H., she had been a resident of Englishtown for 42 years. Ms. Pojawa retired after 30 years as a night nurse at Marlboro Hospital. She was predeceased by her parents, Florence and Ernest; and a brother, Edward Demers. Surviving are a son, John Pojawa and his wife, Suzanne, of Jackson; four daughters, Yvette Futerfas and her husband, Raye, of Eatontown, Suzanne Pojawa and her companion, Doug Lindstrom, Jeanine Bidun and her husband, Chris, and Simonne Pojawa, all of Englishtown; a brother, Richard Demers of Minnesota; a sister, Louise Ader of Wisconsin; and four grandchildren. A memorial gathering and service was held at the Freeman Funeral Home, Manalapan. Interment was in Somersworth.
