Girl Scouts’ project deserves praise

Dr. Gregory M. Bader of Bordentown
To the editor:
Last Thursday, ProAdjuster Chiropractic in Bordentown was asked to present a health and stretching class at a local Health and Fitness Camp for second to fourth-grade girls. This camp was organized and put together by Amy Dziura and Mara Bush, from Girl Scout Troop 26534, in preparation for their Gold Award.
Ms. Dziura and Ms. Bush did a phenomenal job with this event, and I was quite impressed. The young girls in attendance spend the week learning about how to make healthy choices, how to incorporate health and fitness into their everyday lives, and more, all while having fun, thanks to Amy and Mara’s hard work and dedication. I applaud these young women for their superb efforts and strong desire to give back to the community. Amy and Mara showed remarkable leadership skills, organization, sense of community and commitment to create such a positive event, and they certainly are deserving of the Girls Scouts highest honor. I’m certain that everyone in attendance learned valuable lessons which they will remember for years to come!
