Guitarist Matt Richards will share the skills and concepts he uses in his own playing during a program set for 7-8 p.m. Aug. 6 at the East Brunswick Public Library, Jean Walling Civic Center.
Richards will demonstrate and discuss finger style and flat-pick techniques, chord progressions and scales, improvisation, playing as a soloist and more. The program will conclude with a presentation on the 11- string glissentar. Richards frequently conducts workshops and master classes in conjunction with his performances.
