SPOTSWOOD — A new probationary officer has been sworn as part of the borough’s police force.
Salvatore Fama Jr. of Milltown began his work as an office earlier this month, bringing the department back to its full strength of 19 officers.
Fama grew up in Milltown and graduated Spotswood High School in 2002. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Montclair State University in 2007 and attended the Burlington County Police Academy as an alternate route candidate, graduating last January.
