RED BANK — The Red Bank RestaurantAssociation and Red Bank RiverCenter have teamed with St. James School on a new event, “Taste of Red Bank,” noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 20.
By purchasing a pay-one-price passport ticket, attendees are able to stroll through town and sample signature dishes from each of the approximately 30 participating Red Bank restaurants and food establishments. Free parking will be available throughout Red Bank and free transportation will be provided between the downtown area and the Galleria area. A lively selection of street entertainment, including professional and student musicians, dance troupes, magicians and more, will be positioned throughout town to add to the fun.
Participating restaurants and food purveyors include 2 Senza, Ashes, Bienvenue, The Bistro, Brannigan’s, Carter and Cavero, Danny’s Steakhouse, Dish, The Downtown, Front St. Trattoria, Gaetano’s, The Melting Pot, Muscle Maker Grill, Oakbridge Tavern Red Bank Beer Garden, The Original Soupman, Racioppi’s Kitchen, Readie’s Fine Foods, Red Bank Chocolate Shoppe, Ricky’s Candy Cones and Chaos, River’s Edge Café, Siam Garden, Smoothie King, Surf Burger Island Grill, Teak, That Hot Dog Place, Torcello’s, Via 45, Wine Cellar @ Red Bank, Zaitooni’s and Zebu.
Adult tickets are $25 in advance or $30 on the day of the event. Children age 14 and under pay $10. Ticket price includes foodtasting samples at each participating restaurant. Beverages are not included. Proceeds from the event will benefit St. James Elementary School.
Advance tickets may be purchased in person for cash or check at the Red Bank RiverCenter office, 20 Broad St., 2nd Floor, 732-842-4244. Advance tickets are also available online at www.tasteofredbank.com with payment via credit card through Pay- Pal.
