Fundraiser for Cerebral Palsy of New Jersey
The Rothwell Family Golf Classic to Benefit Cerebral Palsy of New Jersey will tee off on Sept. 21 at Greenacres Country Club in Lawrenceville.
The Rothwell family, including father Larry, son Mike and daughter Barbara Henderson, have owned and operated Pennington Quality Market for 28 years. For the past 20 years, the family has actively supported Cerebral Palsy of New Jersey and its fundraising efforts.
Mike Rothwell sits on Cerebral Palsy of New Jersey’s Board of Directors and has served as chairman of the golf outing’s planning committee since its inception. “My family has enjoyed taking part in planning and playing in this golf outing for many years. We recognize how vital Cerebral Palsy of New Jersey’s services and support are to individuals with disabilities.”
”Our agency feels quite fortunate that the Rothwell family continues to lend its name and the support of Pennington Quality Market to this golf outing,” said Development Officer Liz Graham. “Together, we have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to provide services to children and adults with all types of disabilities. This level of support is tremendous and we can’t thank the Rothwells enough,” she continued.
Cerebral Palsy of New Jersey believes individuals with disabilities should participate fully in society. The agency provides services, education and advocacy to individuals with disabilities and their families to help them lead fuller lives at home, at school, at work and at play.
The fee for this year’s event is $1,200 for a foursome and $300 for individuals.
Registration for the outing begins at 10:30 a.m. and includes 18 holes of golf, lunch, cocktails, dinner, prizes and awards.
Sponsorship opportunities are available for individuals or businesses who want to join Pennington Quality Market in helping children and adults with disabilities become more independent.
