Mrs. Beres, 93, of East Brunswick, died Sept. 28, 2009, in Saint Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. She was predeceased by three brothers and two sisters. Surviving are her husband, Matthew; a daughter, Joanne Croslin of Spotswood; a sister, Mary Semkow of the Somerset section of Franklin; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a great-greatgrandchild. A Mass was offered at St. John the Baptist Church, New Brunswick. Interment was in St. Peter’s Cemetery, also New Brunswick. Arrangements were under the direction of Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick.
