Come and see Willy Wonka, a full-length musical adaptation of Roald Dahl’s “Charlie and The Chocolate Factory.” Sourland Hills Actors Guild sets the stage for this family story of the famous candy man and his quest to find an heir. A multi-generational cast of 65 local singers, dancers and actors, will perform favorite numbers such as "The Candy Man" and "I’ve Got a Golden Ticket." Oompa-Loompas will fill the stage with song as the magical chocolate factory is revealed, and the children discover the mystery behind the golden ticket. A delicious evening of fun for the entire family.
The production of Willy Wonka is Directed by Bob Meola, with Musical Direction by Kathy Haynie and Choreography by Kelly McDermott.
Willy Wonka will be performed Friday, Nov. 13 at 7pm, Saturday, Nov. 14 at 7pm and Sunday, Nov. 15 at 2pm in the Montgomery High School Performing Arts Center, 1016 Route 601, Skillman, NJ. Tickets are $8 on the weekend of the performances and $6 in advance at the box office. Box office hours are Monday-Thursday, November 9-12, from 6-9pm in the main lobby of Montgomery High School.
