The 28th annual “Let’s Talk Adoption” conference will take place 9:15 a.m.-4:45 p.m. Nov. 7 at Busch Campus Center, Rutgers University, Piscataway.
The conference is sponsored by Concerned Persons for Adoption, N.J. Interagency Adoption Council and Rutgers’ School of Social Work, Institute of Families. It is in tended for pre- and post-adoptive parents, social workers, adoptees, birth parents, teachers and school social workers.
Licensed social workers and New Jersey teachers will receive CEUs, with up to five available. Processing fee is $20.
Author Alison Larkin will be the keynote speaker and present “Why My Adoption is a Laughing Matter: The EnglishAmerican Talks About Nature, Nurture and How Her Search for Her American Birth Parents Helped Her Find Herself.” There will also be 36 workshops.
