Mrs. Catanzaro, 84, of Middletown, died Oct. 18, 2009, at Brighton Gardens, Middletown. She was born in Panama City, Panama, and resided in Houston, Texas, prior to moving to Middletown. She taught Spanish at St. Vincent de Paul School, Houston, retiring in 1987. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, John Catanzaro; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jane Catanzaro and Paul Pattwell of Middletown, and Grace Catanzaro and Jack Makowski of South Plainfield; a son and daughter-in-law, John and Andrea Catanzaro of Galveston, Texas; a sister, Rosa Garner of Staten Island, N.Y.; and six grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St James Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank. Interment followed at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown. Memorial donations may be made to Heifer International, P.O.
