The Plumsted Township Council for the Arts will present a tribute to the Rat Pack at 7 p.m. Nov. 7. The tribute will feature Dean Martin impersonator Rich Sette and Frank Sinatra impersonator Jonni Drue. The show, offered as part of the council’s First Saturday’s program, will take place at the Welcome Center, 31 Main St., New Egypt. The program is made possible by a grant from the Ocean County Cultural and Heritage Commission.
The term “Rat Pack” was used in the 1960s to refer to Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Peter Lawford and Joey Bishop, who often appeared together on stage and in films.
Tickets are $10 per person or $15 per couple in advance, or $12 per person at the door. Seating is limited. The ticket price includes the show, dessert and a beverage. Door prizes will be awarded as well. Call 609-758-7461 to purchase tickets.
