Stephen J. Magura

Mr. Magura, 92, of Middletown, died Oct. 24, 2009, at home. He was a retired municipal court judge in Loch Arbor, counsel to the Department of Rehabilitation of Jersey City, and counsel to the Board of Adjustment of Ocean Township. Prior to that, he was a sole practitioner and counsel to the firm of Madnick, Milstein, Mason, Weber, Farnsworth and Collazo, Brick. Mr. Magura was also a professor at John Marshall College of Law, Chicago. He was predeceased by his wife, Georgine Fischer Magura, in 1988. He is survived by a daughter and son-inlaw, Diane Marie and William Castellano; and three grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Oct. 29 at 8:30 a.m. at the John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown. A funeral liturgy will follow at 9:30 a.m. at Mary Mother of God Church, Middletown. Interment will be at St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Sea Girt.
