" PRINCETON TOWNSHIP RESULTS: Running unopposed, Princeton Township Committee members Chad Goerner and Liz Lempert, chalked up victories for their two seats, and Gov. Jon Corzine received more than double the votes of Chris Christie, according to preliminary figures released by Princeton Township’s Clerk.
Gov. Corzine, a Democrat, received 3,302 votes, Republican challenger Mr. Cristie received 1,450 votes, and Independent Chris Daggett received 299, according to the preliminary township tally.
Mr. Goerner received 3,484 votes and Ms. Lempert received 3,521. Both are Democrats.

" PRINCETON BOROUGH RESULTS: According to preliminary figures from the Princeton Borough Clerk’s office, Democratic Gov. Jon Corzine handily beat out Republican challenger Chris Christie at the Princeton Borough polls. Councilman Kevin Wilkes and Jenny Crumiller, both Democrats, also far outpaced Republican Linda Sipprelle to take the two seats on Borough Council up for grabs.
Mr. Wilkes received 1,469 votes, Ms. Crumiller 1,409 and Ms. Sipprelle 668, according to the preliminary borough tally.

" WEST WINDSOR RESULTS: According to the Mercer County Clerk’s office, Dianne Ciccone defeated Andrew Hersh for the final year of an unexpired term on the West Windsor Township Council. Ms. Ciccone received 2,289 votes while Mr. Hersh received 1,659 votes.

" PLAINSBORO RESULTS: According to the Middlesex County Clerk’s office, Democrat Neil J. Lewis received 2,354 votes and Democrat Nuran Nabi received 2,194 votes. The two edged out Republican Paul O’Brien, who received 1,494 votes, for a seat on the Township Committee. "
