Mandee Shops announced that its stores will be the exclusive partner this holiday season for Soles4Souls, the international shoe charity dedicated to providing shoes to people in need. Now through Dec. 24, all 120 Mandee stores, including the store at 4051 Route 9 north, Howell, will be collecting donations of gently worn shoes. As a thank you for participation, each customer who donates will receive a 20 percent off discount coupon toward an item of their choice.
In addition to collecting shoes, Mandee will collect a $1 donation at the register from any customer who chooses to provide further support to Soles4Souls. Soles4Souls has given away more than 5.5 million pairs of new and gently worn pairs of shoes to date.
Studio V Mind, Body & Soul is offering a free “tween” spin class at 4:30 p.m. Nov. 18. The class is geared for boys and girls at least 12 years old. A child must be a minimum of 54 inches tall to ride alone. Otherwise, an adult is welcome to work out beside them. Regular “tween” spin classes are 4:30 p.m. Thursdays and 11 a.m. Saturdays.
