Police investigating electronics theft

METUCHEN — Police are looking for the suspect or suspects who broke into a business on Oliver Street twice in four days last week and stole thousands of dollars worth of equipment.

The most recent incident took place between 4 a.m. and 7:26 a.m. Dec. 1, police said.

A Dell computer valued at $4,800, eight Motorola and Nextel radios, and 12 phone chargers were stolen, police said.

The second incident occurred between 5 a.m. and 7:45 a.m. Nov. 28. Fourteen Motorola radios, with a total value of $1,400, were stolen in that incident, police said.
