Mrs. Kessler, 67, of Manalapan, died Jan. 7, 2010, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold. She had resided in Aberdeen and in Seneca, Pa., before relocating to Manalapan three years ago. Mrs. Kessler was predeceased by her husband, Carl W. Kessler, in 1999. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis C. and Terri Kessler of Manalapan, and Donald E. and Kelly of Florida; three daughters, Christine B. Porter of Sheffield, Ohio, Cara L. Garito of Manalapan, and Colleen Kessler of Aberdeen; a brother, Donald Shaffer of Parma, Ohio; and eight grandchildren. Interment was at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Bridgeville, Pa. The Day Funeral Home, Keyport, was in charge of arrangements.
