The Greater Monmouth Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Group will host Caring With Karaoke, a charity event to benefit the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore, at 7 p.m. Feb. 10 at Cue & Brew Billiards and Sports Bar, 1212 Route 34, Matawan. Cartridge Renewal Systems, Manalapan, is collecting all-occasion used cards to benefit St. Jude’s Ranch for Children. The children use the front of the cards and attach a new back, then resell them. The benefits are twofold, you “green” your cards and the children earn money for their work and learn the importance of going green. The Association of New Jersey Chiropractors is sponsoring “Baby, It’s Cold Outside,” a statewide coat, hat, glove and scarf drive to help New Jersey battle the cold. Anyone can drop off these items to participating chiropractors who will then deliver them to Jersey Cares, Salvation Army, Goodwill and other charitable organizations throughout New Jersey.

Dr. Russell Brokstein will be accepting donations of unwanted winter apparel such as coats, hats, gloves and scarves in good condition at his office, Hometown Family Wellness Center, 9 Broadway, Freehold, until Jan. 31.

Wegmans Food Markets, with seven locations in New Jersey, recently announced that more than $371,000 was raised during the chain’s annual Check Out Hunger initiative.

Wegmans customers and employees were invited to donate $2, $3 or $5 at checkout with 100 percent of the proceeds going to food banks located in each store’s immediate community.

Manalapan and Ocean Wegmans collectively raised $94,522.30 for the Food Bank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties.

Bridgewater and Woodbridge Wegmans collectively raised $74,777 for the Community Food Bank of New Jersey.

Princeton Wegmans raised $59,153 for Mercer Street Friends.

Mount Laurel and Cherry Hill Wegmans raised $142,965 for the Food Bank of Southern New Jersey.
