In response to a letter that was published in the Tri-Town News on Dec. 24, 2009, “Resident Says Jackson Officials Failed Residents,” can it be possible that the writer wants to oust elected officials because he got a busy signal on the snow removal line?
I have to remark that even though we were denied a state of emergency by Gov. Corzine in the worst snowstorm for this area since 2003, our mayor, among others, staffed the public works phones until 1:30 a.m. and later.
The streets were cleaned the best I’ve seen in 10 years here.
I know the people of Jackson have better sense than to even consider what he suggests and realize that he has an apparent (political) ax to grind.
