Couples will renew vows

JACKSON — The Hope of Glory Worship Center is offering married couples a chance to renew their wedding vows.

“With Valentine’s Day only a few weeks away, the Hope of Glory Worship Center is offering all married couples an opportunity to renew their wedding vows on Feb. 14,” said Christopher D. Soleberry, pastor.

“This past year, 2009, was a horrific year for many people, families that lost homes, jobs, finances, in addition to the normal wear and tear that life has,” he said.

Soleberry said that in spite of the challenges, married couples remained faithful, united and still in love. He said the renewal of wedding vows is a wonderful way to declare a continuing love for each other.

He said renewing wedding vows also sends a great message about marriage to teenagers and young adults.

Couples who are interested in renewing their vows should contact the Hope of Glory Worship Center and set up an appointment for a pre-marriage interview.

The ceremony will take place as part of the Sunday service on Valentine’s Day. Immediately after the ceremony, there will be a traditional wedding reception hosted by the church.

The Hope of Glory Worship Center meets Sundays at 780 Paterson Road, Jackson. To contact the office, call 732-833- 4807 or visit www.thehopeofglory.org.
