Ms. Machinga, 46, of Toms River, died Jan. 27, 2010, at her parents’ home in Brick. She had resided in Keyport and Matawan before moving to Toms River two years ago. For the past 18 years, Ms. Machinga was a member of the Aberdeen Township Police Department PBA and was a police dispatcher with the department. She is survived by her parents, Thomas and Patricia (Hoben) Brislin of Brick; six children, Thomas Machinga of Brick, Teresa Machinga-Crawford of North Carolina, Robert J. Machinga of Toms River, Nina Rose Palendrano of Toms River, Jason Palendrano of North Carolina, and Michael Palendrano of Florida; three sisters, Cheryl Adamaski of Aberdeen, Christine Brislin of Toms River and Tricia King of Michigan; Joseph Palendrano of Keyport; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
