Mrs. Pasterick, 86, of Sayreville, died Feb. 23, 2010, at home. Prior to her retirement in 1986, she was employed in the women’s and children’s sales department at J.J. Newberry, East Brunswick, where she worked for 25 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Pasterick; a son, Daniel Pasterick; her parents, Peter and Catherine Zagata; and two brothers, Simon and Louis Zagata. Surviving are a daughter, Dianne Kohlhepp, and her husband, Thomas, of Sayreville; two brothers, Walter Zagata of Pompano Beach, Fla., and Frank Zagata of Sayreville; four grandchildren, Jason Kohlhepp, and his wife, Danielle, Jennifer Kohlhepp, Patricia Pasterick, and her partner, Eric, and Daniel Pasterick; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass was offered at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Sayreville. Interment was in the church cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Maliszewski Memorial Home, Sayreville.
