The next scheduled recycle pick up for Mansfield Township is Monday, March 15.
The next Mansfield Township Committee meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 10, at 7:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Mansfield Township Municipal building located on East Main Street. For more information please call 609-298-0542
The Mansfield Township Recreation Committee will hold a meeting on Tuesday, March 16, at 8 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Mansfield Township Municipal building located on Main Street in Columbus. All interested residents are invited to attend.
Burlington County Chapter of Hadassah will meet on Tuesday, March 23, at Temple Har Zion, High and Ridgway streets, Mount Holly. Following a brief business meeting at 1 p.m., a talk will be presented by Courtney J. Sill, Ph.D., trained geneticist and Director of Communications, Coriell Institute for Medical Research. Her subject, titled “Moving Toward Individually Tailored Healthcare,” is the Coriell Personalized Medicine Collaborative research study, which aims to understand the utility of genome information in health management. The Columbus Home and School Association will hold their monthly meeting on Wednesday March 24, at 8 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Media Center at the Mansfield Township Elementary School on Mansfield Road East. All interested members of the community are invited to attend. The meeting will start with a short presentation from about the upcoming school budget.

Notice to Mansfield Township residents:
Dog and Cat Licenses for the year 2010 (March 1, 2010 through Feb. 28, 2011) are due March 1. The deadline to obtain licenses is March 31. After this date a cumulative $15 per month late fee will apply. In order to obtain a license, you must comply with the information required: correct fees, proof of rabies certificate (must be valid from March 1, 2010, through February 28, 2011).
The free rabies clinic will be held at the Mansfield Township Public Works Building, behind Town Hall (the old Franklin Fire Company Building), 24548 E. Main St., Columbus, New Jersey on Saturday, March 6, 2010 from 9 to 11 a.m. for dogs and 11 a.m. to noon for cats. Please note that all dogs and cats must be leashed or in a carrier. Please be sure to bring last year’s paperwork and exact change to help expedite the rabies and licensing process. Dogs $11, spayed/neutered. $14 non-spayed/neutered; cats, $9.80.
