Mr. Tyhanic, 69, of the Toms River section of Dover, formerly of East Brunswick, died Feb. 18, 2010, in CommunityMedicalCenter, Toms River. Prior to his retirement in 1999, he was employed with Johnson & Johnson, New Brunswick. He also was the owner of Ty’s Landscaping, East Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Kathie Schwalje Tyhanic; two sons, Kurt of Toms River and Keith, and his wife, Maureen, of Little Egg Harbor; and two grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Bartholomew’s Church, East Brunswick. Interment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Arrangements were under the direction of Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick.
