On April 8 at 6 p.m. the Rehab Center at Wedgwood Gardens, Route 9 north, Freehold Township, will host a free lecture, “Treatment Options for Chronic Knee Pain,” presented by Dr. Manuel T. Banzon, orthopedic surgeon of the Advanced Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Institute in Freehold. Dr. Banzon will highlight the benefits of “customized” knee replacement surgery.

The Rehab Center at Wedgwood Gardens provides care for those requiring subacute rehab following a hospital stay for medical or surgical diagnoses, specializing in the care of patients following total joint replacement.

Freehold MR Associates has relocated its Freehold facility to the Donna O’Donnell, RN, Medical Arts Building on the campus of CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township.

Freehold MR Associates was previously located in a separate facility on the hospital campus. The new location at 901 W. Main St., Freehold Township, now provides more convenient access for patients to have MRI, PET/CT and CT imaging scans all in one location.

Freehold MR Associates features the latest high-field open bore and short bore MRI technology, which allows more head, leg and elbow room than conventional MRI systems. Freehold MR Associates also provides PET/CT and CT services at the new location.

The Provident Bank will offer ecofriendly grocery bags to the first 100 customers at each of its 80-plus branches on April 22, to celebrate Earth Day.
