Does your child know about home safety and fire safety? Or how our police department, fire department and medical emergency professionals can help them when needed?
They can find out firsthand by attending a Kids Safety Awareness Seminar on March 20 from 1:30 to 3 p.m. The seminar is presented by Kicks Are for Kids, a New Jersey nonprofit. Presenters include professional police officers, first aid squad members and firefighters. A special guest will present a program on avoiding negative influences.
The seminar will be held at Black Belt Institute, 23 New St. in Metuchen. To register, call 732-205-9797. A suggested $10 per individual ($5 per individual for groups) donation to Kicks Are for Kids Inc. is appreciated. Due to limited space, early registration is recommended.
