LAWRENCE: Police blotter from the April 29 edition

Someone took 45 short-sleeved T-shirts from the Ann Taylor Loft store at the Quaker Bridge Mall between 12:30 p.m. and 1 p.m. April 22, police said.
    The T-shirts, which were on a display table, were valued at a combined $1,642.
    Samsun Begum, 46, of East Windsor, was charged with shoplifting an assortment of jewelry, valued at $335, from the J.C. Penney department store at the Quaker Bridge Mall at 3:33 p.m. April 20, police said.
    A store loss prevention officer saw her conceal the jewelry in her purse, police said. She was issued a summons and released.
    Alesia Yasinskaya, 20, of Brunswick Avenue in Trenton, was charged with shoplifting two Dior perfume containers, valued at a combined $398, from Macy’s at the Quaker Bridge Mall at 9:27 p.m. April 19, police said. She was released on a summons.
    Someone stole a purple metallic boy’s BMX bicycle from the rear porch of a Lawn Park Avenue residence between 12:20 a.m. April 18 and 4:15 p.m. April 19, police said. The bicycle was valued at $500.
    A 1999 Ford tow truck was reported stolen from Lot C at the Quaker Bridge Mall between 2:20 p.m. and 3 p.m. April 18, police said. The victim told police that the truck was locked and that he had the key.
    The tow truck was recovered at 11:54 p.m. in Irvington by the Irvington Police Department. The ignition was damaged and the driver’s door was damaged. Lockout tools, valued at $1,500, and a $350 Garmin GPS device were missing.
    Maria Hernandez, 57, of Melrose Avenue in Trenton, was charged with shoplifting clothing worth $287 from Macy’s at the Quaker Bridge Mall at 1:47 p.m. April 18, police said.
    A store loss prevention officer saw her pick up the clothing and enter a fitting room, police said. She had concealed the items inside her handbag, police said. She was issued a summons and released.
