EDISON — Police are looking for two men who assaulted and robbed a 34-year-old man last week as he was walking on Wooding Avenue near the Skylark Diner, off Route 1.
The incident occurred at 5:30 a.m. April 19, police said.
The victim, a resident of the Cliffwood section of Aberdeen, Monmouth County, told police that the suspects approached him and started punching and kicking him. They then left with the victim’s wallet. Police said no weapons were shown.
Both suspects were described as black males, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, with medium builds and wearing dark clothing and dark skullcaps.
