Mr. Pittenger, 83, of California, formerly of Eatontown, died April 19, 2010, in Grass Valley, Calif. He was a certified pipe organ repairman and piano tuner and had a beautiful singing voice. Mr. Pittenger lived his whole life by the Scout Oath of Honor and was a member of the senior hiking group. Interment will be private at Rose Hill Cemetery, Matawan. Arrangements are under the direction of the Freeman Manalapan- Marlboro Funeral Home, Manalapan.
